The value for money was excellent and the room was comfortable and unique. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely view of the Clearwater River. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The breakfast option could be improved with a wider selection of dishes.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our road trip and were blown away by the beautiful view and rooms at this cozy lodge. Harty and Marjorie, the owners, went above and beyond to make us feel pampered and well-rested. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were immaculate and filled with high-quality amenities. We loved the antique decor and the jacuzzi tub, and the free breakfast at their bakery in town was a real treat. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely reroute ourselves to stay at this peaceful spot again. Thank you, Schmael's, for such a wonderful experience.
